"Believe it or not, loss of limbs can be caused by a vaeirty accidents and
diseases that don't involve war. You'd think that research and advances in
the field of robotics which could help to restore a great deal of life
quality and dignity to a great many people would be seen as something
positive.I guess the glass is always half empty for some people"Who do you
think is behind the funding of this kind of research? The tobacco
companies? 'Hey, loss of limbs is no longer an issue with smoking!' Sure,
there are plenty of other reasons people lose limbs, but there is a vested
interest from certain companies with the cash to have this kind of research
done, quite possibly mainly for the army. The US army are almost as bad as
the oil and pharmaceutical companies when it comes to doling out the big
bucks for research which suits them. I certainly wouldn't put it past them
to be behind this research, especially when it coincides with the
exoskeleton research.I doubt you're arguing for all wars in general,
because that would be ridiculous. So I'm going to have to guess that you're
arguing against Bomber himself, in a pathetic attempt at making Bomber look
stupid, and that's why you come across looking naive.
